Dog Bed

Today I went to Petsmart to buy Fred a new dog bed. I brought Fred with me. Normally I go to Petco, but I wanted a change of scenery. Anyway, I spent a long time there looking around Petsmart. Fred enjoyed enjoyed himself greatly. I had him try out all the different dog beds before I settled on one.

Scheduled for surgery!

I am officially scheduled to have my gall bladder out on September 2nd. I'm only a little bit nervous.

I can't wait for Tuesday

I can't wait for my doctor's appointment on Tuesday. I feel sick. I want to know about my gall bladder. Tuesday cannot come soon enough!

No News

So I went for my ultrasound this morning. The tech wouldn't tell me squat about my gall bladder. I'm disappointed. So now I have to call the doctor to get news about my gall bladder.

Sad Decision

Billy and I came to a decision last night that makes me sad. We decided not to try and conceive until after my gall bladder is out. This is because we think my health is the most important thing.

On a positive note, I finally got a basal thermometer, something I have been bugging Billy to let me buy for a couple of weeks now to help me predict ovulation. The reason he let me buy one now was because I let him get an add on for one of his PS3 games.

Bad news

I have bad news. Last night I was in the hospital ER with stomach pain. This is not the first time I've had it either. Long story short, it was determined that it was most likely gall stones. This is my second attack in two weeks. I have an ultrasound scheduled for Thursday at 8:00am. I'll know more after the ultrasound. I kind of hope it is my gall bladder so it can be surgically removed.

News!

I have news! Billy and I have decided to try and conceive a baby! I'm so excited! Up until now we have been letting nature take it's course, but now we will more actively try. This is both fun and scary at the same time.

I want to put in a shout out to a couple of websites. One website is Just Mommies. I have found the message boards on Just Mommies to be a great source of support. Another website that I just joined today is Fertility Friend. Fertility Friend is a great site for charting.

Wedding Album

I'm still working on my wedding album, but I'm making progress. Out of 802 pictures taken at my wedding, I've got it narrowed down to 135. The problem is that there is only 30 pages in the album. This is so tough!

Our Construction Zone

As you may or may not know, we are living with the inlaws. The inlaws are very kindly turning the garage into another room for us and they will eventually build us a kitchen so we have our own apartment. Anyway, I wanted to post photos of the garage/new room. So here they are.

Update on me

Okay, I thought that I would post an update on me. First, the wedding!

Since I'm Jewish and Billy is Catholic, we were married by a justice of the peace. I know that we had some other options, but that is what worked for us. The wedding was on May 31st. Everything went very smoothly. I was glad that Billy was able to break the glass in the Jewish tradition. Because he has cerebral palsy, we weren't sure he would be able to do it. After the wedding, we went to Foxwoods for 3 days on a honeymoon. Now I'm living with Billy and the inlaws and our two dogs, Xander and Fred. Xander is a 6.5 year old white german shepherd and Fred is a 9 month old toy poodle
